Sabancı Group Receives International Awards for Human Resources Practices


The Sabancı Group received a total of 32 international awards for making a difference in all aspects of its human resources processes and practices, in line with its “Sabancı of the New Generation” vision.

Sabancı Holding, which attaches great importance to the leadership development of its employees at all levels as something essential for its organizational continuity, received 5 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal with its Sabancı Leadership Development Programs entitled, “X-CELERATE”, “X-POSURE” and “TP-X”, all designed and implemented according to international standards.

The Sabancı Group reaped the fruits of its investments in recent years in this field by winning 3 gold prizes in the “Leadership Development Success”, “Most Innovative Leadership Program”, and “Leadership Training” categories at the Stevie Awards, and an additional 2 gold prizes in the “Best Advance in Leadership Development” and “Best Learning Program Supporting Transformation in Business Strategies” at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.    

Apart from the awards received by Sabancı Holding, several individual Sabancı Group companies also scored successes at these two events deemed highly prestigious in the business world, by being awarded for their various human resources processes and practices. In this context, Akbank won 1 gold and 6 bronze prizes, Enerjisa Production received 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze prizes, AvivaSA and Brisa each received 1 gold prize, and Enerjisa Energy won 1 bronze.      

In addition to these awards, the “Kincentric Best Employer Awards” organized by Kincentric and granted according to the separate indices of “employee engagement”, “agility”, ”engaging leadership” and “talent focus”, were also recently presented to the winners. The Sabancı Group companies Aksigorta and Enerjisa Production ranked among the 32 companies offering the best employee experience and workplace environment. Among the other award recipients were Akbank, which won the “Employee Engagement Special Achievement Award”, Carrefour, which received the “Employee Engagement Award” for the progress it had made since the previous survey, Ak Investment, which won the “Best Workplace” award and Ak Financial Leasing, which received the “Employee Engagement Award”.
